2 Thumbs Up
My girlfriend and I were looking for a quiet weekend getaway in the mountains and Sue's cabin was the perfect find. The cabin is located down a a very untraveled gravel road (I think we only saw 2 cars go by the entire weekend) so it feels very private and isolated. The house sits up on top of a cleared hill, so the views from the front porch are breathtaking, perfect for morning coffee and evening food and drinks. We got a lot of use out of the fire pit in the yard and the gas grill on the porch. With no plumbing and the cabin running on solar power, there is a slight feeling of roughing it, but really that only adds to the experience of disconnecting and going off the grid. Also, Sue was a great host - very easy to get a hold of and left a binder of instructions for the house. All around, it was a great experience and we will definitely consider going back again.
