Good stay for the price. Bring ear plugs.
My sixth time to Maui and this was a good "low frills" value for Maui. Fees and all worked out to $850 for a week (Feb 2016). Other guests were at times little noisy and inconsiderate- locking cars via key fob (which honks the horn) and loud talking, and television at all hours of morning and night. This is not the fault of the rental, and they do ask people to be considerate and aware of their thin walls. Unfortunately they may need to be a little more specific as to what being considerate actually means. Enjoyed use of the BBQ area, coin operated laundry, nearby Haiku, Ho'okipa Lookout and Mama's Fish House. Great location for going to Hana and Haleakala. Driving to West Maui can be a little bit of a task (an hour or more to Lahaina depending on traffic). Big bathroom, fairly comfortable bed, and couch. Stayed here to get off the tourist track, which it is other than the ten other tourists in the neighboring units. No big complaints, but might look around for something else next time.
