Relaxing time in the Tree house
My wife, daughter, and I wanted some quiet, a beautiful view, and a getaway from living in the busy city. We got that here. A great view off the balcony, and from the big windows inside the living room / kitchen. You feel like you're in a tree house. Wonderful breezes during the day to open the windows to, and surprisingly not much breeze at night, which made sitting on the balcony at 11pm even more enjoyable. As we get older, we cherish being able to sleep comfortably when we go on vacation. We got that here. The main bedroom mattress was firmer than what we're used to, but it was still comfortable with no dips in the middle. We slept great. Hot water! We had plenty for dishes and for a long hot shower. We also had no problems with the climate controls. Heater worked great for the late nights when it got cooler. Comfortable couch, and funky "treetop" coffee table. Bench and table inside, and outside on the balcony allow you to eat either place. Note that the grill out on the deck is a George Foreman BBQ electric grill... not a gas grill. It worked fine for our burgers. The other thing is convenience. The house is about 5-10 min drive around the lake to the grocery store. Go out the street the house is on, make a left and continue into town. Pretty simple. It's also located near the lake. You could walk there if you wanted to take your time, but with the incline and such we preferred to drive down. About a 3-5 minute drive and we're down at the lake with plenty of parking and the baseball fields; which were not in use, so we played frisbee and flew a kite. There's also parking for 2 large cars and a basket on a winch, which goes up and down to the house for loading groceries. Fits about 4-5 bags. The owner was prompt with all communication, and booking was hassle free. We would like to come back sometime soon, and would recommend this place to friends.
