It was like waking up in paradise.
The property is well secured. Plenty of helpful staff who are always present. The surrounding towns have homelessness and that might initially put a person on guard, however the property is well protected and secured so crime here is extremely low by entire Island standards. Your car and belongings will be fine, even when left for long periods of time unused. We turned off the air-conditioning and opened the windows to hear the birds at 4am. There is a local bus that travels up to 1:30am and starts again at 4:30, however with the air-con and windows closed you do not hear anything...so light sleepers will be fine. The kitchen was well stocked with all the tools you would need to prepare any meal. Microwave, toaster, oven, fridge/freezer and utensils. Even for the BBQ downstairs. The grilling stations poolside were Weber and the best quality. Clean and they all worked flawlessly. The tables were evenly spaced and we found peaceful areas to eat as a family around the tiki torches and beneath the palm trees and stars. Parking is plentiful, particularly at the highest level. It seems that people are typically lazy and want to avoid walking those extra 100 steps...always a spot in the upper level no matter what time of day/night you roll in. Reduces chances of door dings and you generally have extra room to open your car doors to get in/out comfortably. There was extra bedding and a few toiletries left behind by other guests (new soap bar, laundry detergent etc.). The accomodations are perfect for 1-2 adults, good for 2-3 (fold out bed), tight for 4 (air mattress has a slow leak and needed to be refilled daily/middle of the night), and pretty cramped for 5 adults/teens. If you have small children it would work out perfectly because they are light, and sleep anywhere if tired enough! The location is amazing. In a valley with thousands of wild peacocks and myna birds. Dry and sunny with a view to die for as you wake in the morning. Even the front door is a place you can stand and enjoy a surreal view of mountains (and we are from mountainous Canada) right in front of you. There was a boogie board and fins and mask/snorkel. John, the main contact, was amazingly quick to respond to queries, even on the last day when I had a specific check-out question he emailed me back within one hour..that is great corporate level service at a value price. We are very picky people generally...we would rent this accomodation again so that should tell you something
