Vermont vacation with pooches and kiddo
We vacationed at the house the last week in August 2009 and had a wonderful time. The house itself is rustic, well maintained and clean. We cooked in a bunch and the kitchen had everything one would need. The bedrooms are a nice size and the back 2 bedrooms open onto a a large deck facing the water. There is a screened in porch over looking the water which was really awesome. We ate some meals there, and relaxed there with the nice breeze that comes through. The property is great . It sits at the end of the road and although there are other houses around, they are not close and it is very private. Our dogs ran in the large field outside the house and on the private beach below and had a ball. We went to the nearby beach and Niquette State park (about 5 min away) everyday and the water was perfect for our 2 1/2 year old daughter. The location is also so convenient. Very easy to get to Burlington - enjoyed some good restaurants and the bike path, and other attractions like Ben and Jerry's and Shelbourne Farms. We will definitely be back. Would recommend this house for anyone looking for an outdoorsy private get away - especially if you have some canines in the family.
