Just enough immenities in a quiet neighborhood
We travel for business often and opt to stay in "homes" away from home , more often than not. We were to exhibit at the Gaylord at National Harbor , which is very nice , but big, costly, and we were tired of yet another hotel stay, when we came across this option . Choosing this, we were able to enjoy National Harbor during our exhibition , but get away from all the hustle and bustle and people, in this quaint guest quarters in a quiet neighborhood, just minutes away, and at a fraction of the cost. The guest quarters are in the same property of the renter,. The renter is pleasant, professional, and helpful , and the quarters are quite separate so you have your privacy. The quarters are tastefully decorated with granite, double rain shower head, nicer linens, appliances, etc and has all the immenities you really need. Waking up to birds chirping, and. able to take a walk in a nice quiet safe neighborhood is the "frosting on the cake". PS. Just down the road is Giant supermarket where we bought groceries and along that same road is liquor store , car wash, an awesome BBQ take out that is open only Thurs through Sun (beef ribs sell out fast on Sunday), and a laundromat that very inexpensively has a wash & fold service. Some highlights in National Harbor - we enjoyed the Soughern style restaurant Succotash, the dueling piano bar, and the Capitol Ferris Wheel at sunset. Wasn't impressed with MGM Casino but enjoyed the Tangers Outlets nearby. These guest quarters are in a convenient location
