We really enjoyed our stay at the Martin's Home! Very clean, very comfortable and Brian was very accommodating! We did not have a lot of time to "meander" in Jacksonville, as we were there for a family event. However, I grew up in Jacksonville and would love to move back to the Rogue Valley one day. There are all kinds of things to do in the area, including the immediate area of Jacksonville. Shops to peruse through, wine tasting to be done, the Peter Britt Festival has entertainment throughout the summer, hiking, biking, Shakespearean Theater in Ashland, Applegate and Rogue Rivers to enjoy, etc. Now back to the rating for the abode................ lovely home with a fantastic kitchen. Master bedroom has a large deck off of it, perfect for that morning cup of coffee to watch the morning sky come alive. The beds were very comfy and there were ceiling fans in every room if it happens to be a warm night and you don't want to turn the air conditioner on. There was also a pool available and a boccie ball court, though we did not have time to enjoy. The owners, Brian Martin and family, were very friendly and accommodating. We appreciated the extra effort Brian took in answering our questions. We would recommend this home to our friends and family for sure!
