Relax by the fire after a hike next door in the Fallen Leaf Lake area!
My boyfriend and I stayed at the condo for Thanksgiving weekend (sorry for the late review), and we loved it. It was spacious, clean, cozy, in a great location and had everything we needed and then some! Coordinating with Mark and Bonnie was easy, and Mark was quick to reply either through call, text or e-mail. Prudie is the housekeeper that is on site to help if you need. I didn't see them in person, but they were so accommodating and available if we needed them. When we arrived, there was a bottle of wine on the table and the heat had been turned up to a bearable temp. When we came back the next day, we found a note from Prudie with instructions on the pellet stove, more contact info, a welcome and another bottle of wine! I In the condo is a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area with table and washer/dryer (which came in really handy!), large living room with a reclining couch and a big chair with ottoman, TV, heater and pellet stove, one bathroom with some serious high pressure shower water!, and a bedroom with a queen bed. We were happy to find a dog-friendly place, and Sadie LOVED the trails next door. A couple things I would suggest: Put a note on the fridge telling where to find cookware. Maybe it'll be obvious to others, but it took me a while to figure out where the pots and pans lived. Also, there were some strange noises in the pellet stove after we used it for a while. It may need some time to rest if you have it going for a while. Overall: Great place, service and location. We definitely recommend people to stay here!
