The cabin deserves a 5, I have no complaints about the cabin itself!
The cabin was perfect. Two rooms upstairs, two rooms downstairs. Big kitchen and dinner table to accommodate my party of 10. It has games, DVD movies, pool table, dartboard, organ piano, guitar and 3 tvs for entertainment. We made marshmallows outside in a fire pit. Beautiful view of the mountains. Close to Walmart and other stores. Comfy couches both upstairs and downstairs. A jacuzzi in the upstairs master bedroom bathroom. Great porch to view stars at night. We also used the BBQ outside. The kitchen had double oven, my mom fell in love with the kitchen, she said she wanted one just like it. It had plates, mugs, pots, pans, and a lot of stuff to make you feel right at home. Two coffee machines, double sink, enough space in closet to store all your food, a beautiful view of the mountains from the kitchen. Beautiful huge pine trees surrounding the cabin. Another refrigerater downstairs, washer and dryer downstairs as well. Pet friendly place, it has a dog cage, blankets and bed outside for all size dogs. There were even dog toys. Everything you need is in the cabin to make you feel comfortable. There were puzzles. There is a fireplace upstairs and i have no complaints about the cabin. It was a great retreat for my family, at&t gave full phone service but t-mobile only allowed for calls/texts, no internet. A car gps is recommendable for the mountains. There is a little hill driving up to the cabin but we became accustomed to driving in the mountains. The owner has been great since day one, no complaints about him, always answers to e-mails very quickly. My family and I got to see snow for the first time. It wasn't too much nor did you see the pavement or grass covered in white but we saw it falling which was the most special thing for us. The end of December or beginning of January seems to be great timing to see snow. I loved the decorations, I loved the Christmas tree in the living room, makes you feel Christmasy which is always a joyful thing. There is a gate on the staircase to prevent small children from going downstairs alone. We were there from a Tuesday to a Sunday and I loved every day. We spent New Year's there and I left some wine bottles painted in the cabin for memories for the next guests. :) Hope this helps anyone looking to rent a cabin in the mountains.
