Very nice location
We typically prefer to book private homes when vacationing but this time chose to stay at this location largely due to the 4 heated pools and 6 hot tubs on the property. The grounds are very attractive and it's located just outside of town which makes is quieter. It offers tremendous views, especially from one particular hot tub. Although the pools are "heated", we found the water to be a bit chilly. Our unit was a nice size and we had a bit of a view. We were right next to janitorial supply and laundry which was quite busy and we could always hear the machines humming when we were out on our patio. I did have an unexpected visitors to our unit one morning that literally opened the door and asked if anyone was there. Supposed he was there to check a filter of some sort. Although I was generally covered up, I was not comfortable with a man just walking in and after looking in a closet, he remained in the room or longer than he should. I reported this to management and although desk staff apologized, no one acted concerned. I found it a bit disconcerting that no one cared to ask for more details or follow up to state what they were doing about it. I will say the unit was very clean and we had everything we needed. The fact that it's a timeshare location also gives them the ability to try and get you interested in their 90 minute presentations. They made attempts to get us to take part in this, when we checked in and although we said no, they continued to ask. We've also received several calls from Diamond Resorts since our stay with special offers and further attempts at an interest in timeshare properties. For this reason I do not like to stay at these places. Would I stay here again if I came back in the area? Maybe. Would I refer it...likely but share details about what to expect.
