I have to admit when I first showed up with my parents we were a little dissapointed at how kitshy the place seemed. As well as being told that actually we'd have to be moving rooms for our second night to less nice acomodations. Seemingly through no fault of our host but rather through homeaway (hey homeaway, wanna fix this?) there had been a double booking. Once we settled in and even when we moved the place was really not so bad. We're just crunchy hippies used to fresh hair, cotton sheets, all that. It was comfortable and the host was very nice and as accomodating as she could be given the circumstances. The hot tub was unfortunantly too hot for us to really get in but might be nice for someone else. We didn't cook in the kitchens but they seemed to be in fine working order. I would reccomend this place for anyone wanting an affordable place to stay in JT. If you are looking to feel like your alone in the dessert tho, or in touch with nature, stay somewhere else. Or just get that while you're out all day hiking.
