Very clean roomy cabin in the middle of nowhere
We stayed two nights at this cabin. It was everything promised, very roomy and well stocked kitchen. But it is in an absolutely deserted area. Nothing around at all. We were not prepared for that. (Great night photography for sure.) If you go, PLEASE stop to stock up on food in Williams. Don't be like us, arriving tired and hungry from the Phoenix airport and having to raid the very generous snack basket and then go to the ridiculously overpriced and limited convenience store a few miles away, and eat a horrible frozen pizza and burrito for dinner the first night of our vacation. The internet was spotty, but we could live with it. (It is vacation, right?) We had breakfast en route to the Grand Canyon both mornings at RP's Stage Stop in Tusayan. They packed sandwiches for us for lunch which were PERFECT in the middle of the day. Again, the house was very roomy (there were just 2 of us), and comfortable. I just was not prepared to see that there were just a few very small houses and broken down trailers in the nearby area. We would definitely stay there again. The drive to the Grand Canyon (took us about 40 min) was super convenient. I would just bring food with me next time!!!
Enjoy the canyon and mountain views from your porches and amazing dark skies...
