Really, really lovely!! Even better than pictured!
We stayed at this home for 3 days in early November with our two children and our Portuguese Water Dog (non-shedding!) and were thrilled with the accommodations. The location is a short drive to town. We mapped it and it's about 1.7 miles from the house to the middle, give or take, of downtown Asheville. The owners have clearly put a lot of care into remodeling this home and the photos do not do it justice. It's hard to tell in the photos that the kitchen has all new cabinets, a quartz countertop and all-stainless steel new appliances. The bedrooms are lovely and have plenty of space for two people each with comfortable beds and bedding. The bathrooms are completely remodeled and were extremely clean and ready for us to use. And the backyard is fully fenced which was great for our dog. The neighborhood was quiet and charming. Bottom line: the house felt like it had just been remodeled, woodwork and all, and cleaned and we were the first to stay here. Note that we have relatively high standards and typically stay at high end hotels. I am VERY picky about vacation homes that we rent. So it means a lot when I say that we would definitely stay here again on a return trip to Asheville!
Charming, fully renovated 1922 Craftsman style house
