Infested with cockroaches and told by the owner that they were
We were thrilled to find this very cute home in a fabulous location for our remote employees. However, when my employee settled in, there were baby cockroaches and larger cockroaches everywhere. Upon contacting the owner, who has refused to reimburse us, we were told the following: "Since those giant roaches are so common in the desert, to reassure her I googled and found a link from the UofA Ag program about them so that she could see they were only coming inside for water because it was so hot out. I explained this and advised her that it was always a good idea to keep her food in sealed containers, and to keep the drains plugged when not in use" If you rent this home you should be aware that they owner waited almost a week prior to getting the house treated. I think she is an attentive owner but no one should have to share a home with cockroaches. Thirsty or not, this is unacceptable and we are now seeking legal proceedings to protect other renters from this level of response from an owner.
