Great location on Little Eagle Run
If you want a ski in ski out location, this condo is great. Because of mother natures bountiful snow this month... it wasn't as easy as we had hoped! The maintenance crew at Eagle Run have been working so hard to carve out paths to front doors! Any other year, I imagine we would have walked/skied right out to the slopes... but instead we had to climb a 7 foot snow bank! It's do-able... but just be prepared! This is described as a town home... we found it to be a condo. You share walls with one unit and have another unit above (we had a first floor unit). I also thought we would be driving up to a front door, but you park in a communal parking lot (you have one reserved spot and one guest spot) and then us a bellmen's trolley to load up your suitcases/skis and push it to an elevator, and then push it down a cobblestone path to your unit. Depending on where you are in the complex, it might be a long push. The unit is VERY small. In the second bedroom, you are not able to open the TV cabinet with out having to physically push the bed back to allow the doors to swing open. I only mention this if you have small children and you are bringing portable cribs, etc. There is barely enough room to walk around the bedroom. The furnishing are nice. The kitchen provides the basics. As a suggestion to the management company, it would be nice to add a baking sheet, measuring cups and cutting board. (We prefer to stay in for dinners). The unit was clean and the beds were very comfortable, showers had nice pressure. (We did not use the sofa sleeper). The jacuzzi was nice and hot after a long ski day. The management company was VERY helpful and friendly, towels were delivered in a very timely manner when we requested extra! We use Home Away and VRBO a lot... so I thought it would be helpful to understand this unit! (That's what I rely on when choosing a place to stay. )
