Excellent location for Universal Studio/Griffith Park/Zoo/WarnerBros Studios trips
Really great location if majority of your trips around that part of LA. Simple and well described checkin process. Uber to Universal Studio is about $5-7 one way, which is cheaper than parking there. Can go to Universal's CityWalk for dinner or pick one of nearby restaurants (nearby sushi place is really good, mediterranean is so-so). Walgreens is a 2min walk if you need anything and it has some basic groceries (drinking water, milk, cereal, oatmeal, yogurts etc). Bungalow is nice and really quiet at night, kids had their separate beds and overall everyone is happy with our stay. There is central air conditioning for the hotter time of the year. Bathroom needs some TLC + fan but everything else is functional. There is washing/drying machine but it failed to dry the towel (did not spin it well enough and heated it wet; I ended up air drying) so I'd recommend to not use it. Parking spot is tight, be careful, fold the mirrors. Street parking is unpredictable, one day I found the spot, another day everything was full so having dedicated spot is nice and worth the effort it takes to park there. Emry responds to emails almost immediately, offers help etc. I'd recommend to add some friendly touches. there is no dishwasher, so cheap dish drying rack in a sink would be nice to have. When we arrived bathroom had 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper and no refills anywhere. Even hand soap bottle was almost empty. Walgreens is nearby, so I ended up buying (and leaving excess there) toilet paper, paper towels, air deodorizer etc., stuff that you'd normally expect to have. It is a short trip but not something you'd want your guests to worry about when checking in at 3am.
