Location, location, location
The apartment is small but well equipped. The location is great for this property. It is a block away from the beach and Belmont Park. It is also easy access to the bay side if you prefer. There are a lot of restaurants open nearby and there is a Starbucks on the same block. Looking for a good breakfast? Try The Mission, which is nearby and delicious. Parking is provided. We backed into the space which was helpful getting out during busier traffic. We stayed in August and it does get warm inside because there is no A/C. The owner provides a box fan to get the breeze moving through but it really needs ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room. The bedroom opens onto the patio via a sliding door but unfortunately, when we were there the patio screen door didn't lock. The noise from Belmont Park seemed surprisingly distant. The bedroom itself is small. The bed is pushed up against the wall so if you have the inside position, you have to climb out or over to go to the restroom. We didn't use the kitchen but it was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and other cooking basics. Bathroom had soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The whole place was VERY clean. The owner provides beach basics including beach chairs and toys. If you plan to spend much time at the beach, I'd suggest picking up extra beach towels. Drew provided great customer service. He was quick to answer questions. Overall, we were very satisfied with the property and would stay again.
