Mid Century Mountain View
To me this felt more like a one bedroom. At least by NYC standards it would be--the murphy bed is in a side area off the main room. So if you are nervous about staying in a tiny studio, this doesn't feel like one. Also, because of the nice porch off the kitchen area, you have another private area to enjoy. The weather was cold when I was there, but I'm sure most of the year it is a great place to hang out. Also, the grounds of the complex are terrific: Towering palms frame a very quiet, large heated pool and hottub and there is a fantastic manmade 'creek' that flows down the center of the complex. For mid-century fans, this William Cody designed complex will provide a lot of interest and visual pleasure. The unit was comfortable, well-appointed and I enjoyed my time there. No problems at all. I especially liked that the grounds and other home owners were very quiet and reserved. This is not a 'party place' thankfully. Go there for rest and relaxation. The views of the mountains are terrific.
