Perfect Classic Pacific Grove Cottage, Great Location, Great Deal.
The cottage is really perfectly located, right in the core of the village, although interferences with the nearby businesses are minimal and never disturbing. This is a true time machine that brings you back to the days when life was simpler, with an internet connection as a bonus! Bedrooms are comfortable, the kitchen is simple but adequate. We were fortunate to stay at the Little Yellow Cottage and experience traditional cottage living in one of California's cutest towns, and can't wait to return. Cheryl, the owner responds emails promptly, it was a pleasure dealing with her... The Red House Café next door is charming and complements perfectly the cottage, I wish I had more time to chat with its Lady-Owner whom I met too late. Short walk to the Bay and the Monterey Aquarium. I particularly recommend the Farmer's market only one block away from the cottage, facing the Pacific Grove Natural History Museum, a marvelous traditional little museum, worth visiting many times, full of precious artifacts and touching displays about the natural history of Monterey Bay, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. There is also Trotter's Antiques at 590 Lighthouse Ave, an amazing place full of world- class pieces. I strongly recommend the Little Yellow Cottage.
