They took great care to make sure we had all we needed! Over and above our expectations!
Ralph and Bernadette went over and above our expectations for staying with them! Prior to getting up there, Ralph was very prompt at answering our questions and giving us directions to their home. We have an almost 18 month-old son and they were very accommodating with him and even provided a high chair! They had gates at the bottom and top of their stairwell, and outlet covers to make sure kids would be safe in their home. Bernadette made us very delicious and filling breakfasts and even had home-made almond milk for our coffee! They were so welcoming and showed us where everything was if we needed anything else while we were there. Their home was very well maintained, very clean, comfortable, cozy, and had quite a beautiful view out their back door. They're in a very safe gated community that is easily accessible and not too far from downtown Flagstaff. They even have a walking path out their back door that you can take around their neighborhood. We felt so relaxed and at ease the whole time we were there. Our son also got to play with their grandson one of the afternoons which was really fun (Our son took his first many steps that weekend!) Ralph recommended Fratelli Pizza to go to which had really good pizza! We also ate at the Lumberyard Brewing Co, which was good too! We took a day trip to Grand Canyon as well one of the days, as it's about an hour and a half away. We went on a short hike just north of Flagstaff off 89A close to Lockett Meadow which had a beautiful view! We ended up hiking on the road prior to the campsite as the road was closed to vehicles since it was in February. We would recommend staying with Ralph and Bernadette to our friends and family! We truly enjoyed our stay with them! Thank you for allowing us the privilege to get to know you and your family! Also we loved your dog Freddie! :) Our son loved him too!
