Wonderful Aloha Home!
Thank you for sharing your lovely house on the Pacific! It felt like home! The view was extraordinary and the location was convenient to the North Shore. Even Waikiki is easily accessible on a Sunday avoiding commuter traffic. Breakfast and evenings on the Lanai were breath taking. There was no need to be indoors! The TV was not even turned on! Your home was a welcome retreat after our day's events. The local food trucks, Teddy's Bakery, Haliewa Joes, Seven Brothers, Turtle Bay, House Without a Key (Waikiki), the Waikiki Yacht Club (Reciprocal Agreement honored), Turtle Bay, as well as Foodland, etc., provided sustenance and an introduction to local flavors. We enjoyed Waikiki, Pearl Harbor, the numerous beautiful beaches, ATVs, horseback riding, hiking Waimea Valley, swimming in the refreshing falls, and, yes, jumping off "The Rock" at Waimea Bay. A local treat was spotting a seal and pup on the shore by Turtle Bay. After 50 years, touring the Naval Base in Wahiawa was an honor and brought back many fond memories. There is so much more to see, and hope we can return again some day. Your House Manager, Aaron, was very responsive to our one request. He addressed our deflated bike tire concern by immediately replacing the missing pump and inflating the tires. A text message was all that was needed. The Aloha experience was enjoyed by all in our family! We certainly recommend your home. Thank you again, Chick and Cookie, for sharing your slice of paradiseI Mahalo, Sylvia, Rich and family
