Sweet Little Place
We spent a month here and loved it! Location in Black Mountain is ideal. We could walk to shops, restaurants and grocery stores. It's on a very quiet street with views of the mountains. The entry to the apartment faces east, so I enjoyed drinking my coffee while sitting at the table on the covered patio. (When it was warmer.) Just down the street you'll find a peaceful, tree filled place with walking trails. If you like Yoga, I would recommend Black Mountain Yoga in town. (Also within walking distance) They have a variety of classes. Marion is very friendly and helpful with suggestions for things to do and places to visit. She was a pleasure to chat with while enjoying some tea. If you prefer to keep to yourself, she will leave you be. The home is close to I-40 which makes a trip to Asheville easy. If you prefer staying off highways, hwy 70 is a nice ride. Several antiques stores, more restaurants, resale shops and the Nature Center, which was enjoyable. There is so much to do in this area and the apartment had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. We had the use of the washer and dryer. I would absolutely stay here again.
