Great way to enjoy Markleeville!
We stayed here for 3 nights during our fall tour of Sierra's. The cabin is clean and well equipped and right in the cute town of Markleeville. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and the town is welcoming. It is great to have a kitchen to cook in as the selection of restaurants in the fall during low season is limited. Great hiking all around on Carson, Monitor or Ebbetts passes and right in Grover Hot Springs. Caution fall is hunting season so wear bright colors. We were excited to spot a bear mama and cub while hiking Burnside Lake Trail.
