Disappointing, partly my fault.
This place is located in one of the most beautiful spots on Earth. Our view was a parking lot. The sidewalk was immediately outside our window, so privacy was in short supply. I overheard one of the front desk attendants explaining to a disgruntled renter that there were over 400 units and only 41 had views. The sales pressure was minimal but always there, which was annoying when we just wanted basic information. To call this a resort is a stretch. We have been very fortunate with VRBO rentals in the past. I have to think that this mistake was at least partly my own fault. I should have done more homework.
