Overall nice property
We visit Kiawah several times a year and normally rent through VRBO. We checked in late and had no issues. This property is very conveniently located near the front gate and close to West Beach Village. It sits on the edge of a golf course. This is an older style home and the furnishings look like the family just stepped out. It does not have the appearance of a rental property. There is a step down into the sunken living room which can pose a hazard if not used to it or if not paying attention. I was talking to my husband in the kitchen and forgot about the step and went off it sideways. Fortunately my foot landed just right but we could see where this might be a problem in a rental property with so many different people coming in and out particularly in the evenings in lamp light. The home is spacious in room throughout with the possible exception of the master bath which has a tub/shower my husband found to be uncomfortably tight. The pillows could be updated as the ones in the master bedroom were not comfortable. We swapped them out of the guest room and made it work but it is time for new ones all the way around. The kitchen is nicely equipped and spacious. The many photographs throughout the home are amazing. This is a property we would consider staying at again. We had no issues during our stay.
