Very enjoyable house and location
We happily spent a week in this house, exploring towns, parks, lakes and restaurants within a 25 mile radius. The house is very comfortable and immaculate. It is a small traditional CT farmhouse with a contemporary addition. The decor is mid century modern with some interesting design elements. The layout provides privacy for the two master bedrooms & baths and there is a small third bedroom with twin beds for children plus a playroom on another level; wifi, cable and phone are reliable; the screened porch has a good sized dining table and large sectional seating. There is also a dining room, a kitchen table and an outdoor picnic table; great library of books plus local guides; the rural setting is very quiet; the owner was very helpful and kind. Swing set in the yard. One caveat for very young children: there are multiple levels in addition to two staircases. The living room is two steps down and the second floor bedroom has a big step right inside the door. Very close to gardening shrine White Flower Farm and to Oliva, a good restaurant in Bethlehem.
