Beautiful views; beautiful place, but...
This place was gorgeous, spacious and boasted 3-flat screen TV's: one in each bedroom and one in the living area. I chose this because my friend who accompanied me on my trip loves having her TV on ALL the time whereas I rarely watch. Well, the TV in her bedroom wouldn't work so I had to listen to the TV in the living room or confine myself to the bedroom. Bummer. When we arrived the first day at the condo-after 10 hours of driving and lugging our suitcases up the stairs-the code wouldn't work on the door. A call to the after-hours number yielded this, "sorry, but we don't consider this an emergency so won't be able to help you until tomorrow." I left voicemails and phone calls with various people to no avail and finally called the owner. Eventually we got in. After nearly an hour of standing outside the door. The place was very nice but housekeeping left a broken glass in the cupboard and a dirty pitcher and a mug that was less than clean when I went to make coffee the next morning. There were several different sets of directions to follow for check-out so we just picked one and followed it. The beds were very firm-which for me, who loves My Tempurpedic, was very uncomfortable. It was lovely and close to shopping but I'm hoping my next stay in the desert gives me less problems to deal with.
