Best of the Best - wonderful taste of Hawaii
We stayed here with some very good friends and had a great time. The two master suites are well appointed and have there own private lanai's. The common area has a wall mounted TV and there is a good DVD library. The kitchen is great and the Mango bar is awsome. Great views of the coast including Kealakekua Bay from the lanai's and dining area. The entire house was very clean and was very warmly decorated with all the personal touches of a home. Dave was very helpful with what to see and do in the area and also very helpful in showing us how to load and unload the kayaks and paddle boards on our cars, having the use of all the equipment was a big plus in our decision to stay there. The pool and the entertainment area (BBQ, chaise lounges, tables and umbrellas) were great. There is so much to do in the immediate area, two steps for snorkeling, Captain Cooks Monument for kayaking The City of Refuge National Historical Park, the black and white sand beach at Hookena County Park the local farmers markets on the weekends also don't miss the sunsets at the picnic area in the national park. We will for sure come back here with our friends and will recommend it to others. Mahalo
