Great, great place to stay
There were three of us, the three separate sleeping areas were much appreciated. The WiFi works fine. We enjoyed the hot tub one night and the fire pit the two other nights during our stay. Beds were comfortable. Two separate heaters were great to have too. The bathrooms are well appointed. The kitchen has everything you could ever possibly need. The house is on a quiet street just a few blocks from the highway. It's quite close to the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park and food and shopping. There are some some fantastic places to eat that you could actually walk to- about a mile a way. I highly recommend the Crossroads Cafe. Holy cow! What a great place to eat. The Joshua Tree Saloon- only if its the only place open. Palm Springs takes about 40 minutes and we made a one day road trip there easy enough- all highway and freeway. Another great place to eat- about 10 minutes away is Pappy And Harriet's. Most certainly worth the short drive. Back to the house. It was perfect for us. And, as I mentioned, it really did have everything you could ever need and I certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay in it again on my next desert journey.
