The perfect location!
For 10 years and until just recently this lovely building was the home of my own River Echo Language School where we hosted language travellers of all ages and from every corner of the globe.
This traditional home is within walking distance of all the great things Wakefield has to offer: fine boutiques, great eateries, exceptional live entertainment, galleries, and ... above all .. the great company of a very friendly community.
The Black Sheep Inn, Kaffe 1870, Le Hibou are there for all your entertainment needs.
Cafe Aries, Chez Eric's, the Pot au Feu, La Maison du Village, the Wakefield Mill Inn and Spa for great food and more.
The Community Centre offers a great palette of events, concerts, festivals and theatre.
And our beautiful perennial garden in the back is a beautiful oasis in which to relax, entertain, BBQ, do nothing, read .... No backyard neighbors, so you have complete privacy. Hike up the hill and join the Wakefield Trail system.
The chalet is fully equipped - linens, towels, DVD player, WiFi, stereo.
The kitchen can handle any size family dinner you can think of. Stove, micro, toaster, stove (oven will hold a nice fat turkey). There's a BBQ in the summer.
Washer and dryer have just been added, too.
