It's also conveniently close to Picton, Bloomfield, and the Sandbanks beaches and hiking trails, and a short drive to the popular lakeside village of Wellington. Beach passes for two vehicles are included for guest use.
The spacious living room has large picture windows overlooking the perennial gardens and you can also marvel at the view of West Lake from the bay window in the dining room. From the modern kitchen, you can access the water-view
deck which offers a shadier spot under the pergola as well as an open area with dining table. What a great spot for grilling
dinner and dining al fresco! And the kids will love the little outdoor playhouse that's within easy view of the deck. For a closer look at the water, meander down the curved stairway leading to the shoreline. While you're at it, why not enjoy a refreshing dip in the lake?
For a spectacular end to the day, gather around the campfire and watch the blazing sun set over West Lake. There's also a well placed seating area on top of the bank overlooking the water - an ideal location for viewing the lake and dock area or enjoying the sunsets.
Just down the road are the Sandbanks Dunes and within a 10 minute drive in the other direction is the village of Bloomfield where you'll find a variety of restaurants, cafes & tearooms, an ice cream shop, boutiques, artists' studios, antiques, and a public library. For groceries and other supplies, Picton is less than a 15 minute drive away.While you're visiting the area, take advantage of the wonderful scenery & country roads, sand dunes & beaches, golf courses & fishing, festivals & farm markets that Prince Edward County offers. Enjoy a day of tasting and discovery at local wineries and fine dining establishments. Visit the museums, theatre, art galleries, artisans, and antique shops that abound. And it's conveniently close to Toronto (2 hours), Ottawa (3 hours), and Montreal (4 hours) so visit as often as you like.

Walk down the curved stairway to the shoreline where you'll find a 24' x 4' dock. Great spot for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, or just relaxing and enjoying nature.
