The space

Close to the action of Hollywood but without the noise and bustle, you'll be a few minute drive from the action while enjoying an escape in a beautifully decorated home! This spacious and enchanting 2-bedroom/1 1/2-bathroom apartment is located on a quiet street in the heart of Los Feliz. A Spanish-Moroccan motif, you’ll enjoy an international design flair and plenty of outdoor space to soak up the sun! Minutes away from hiking at Griffith Park, close to trendy local shopping and dining, and near the sights and excitement of Hollywood, it’s the perfect spot for anyone wanting to experience life in Los Angeles!

The space is a 2-story duplex with lots of outdoor seating. The front porch area is calm and spacious and comes with a grill—it’s a perfect spot for soaking up some rays, watching the sun set, or enjoying a meal outdoors. There’s also a beautiful backyard garden with a private gazebo that’s a perfect spot to read a book, relax, and even get work done if needed. Backyards this size are a rarity in Los Angeles—this spot is a unique gem.

The downstairs space includes a large living-room area with a big couch, coffee table, 48” cable-connected TV, and a desk that will make for a great work station if needed. The couch can comfortable sleep one person and we have extra bedding/blankets in the large closet that’s connected to the living room. There's a gas fireplace that beautifully lights the room, too! The dining room area features a large table that can seat up to 6. The kitchen space is fully-loaded with all of the cookware/glasses/dishes, etc. that you’d need to make a meal and includes a large refrigerator, stove, sink, dishwasher, coffee pot, tea kettle, blender, and toaster oven. There’s also a breakfast nook area that overlooks the garden—a great spot to start the day!

The laundry room, which includes a washer & dryer along with detergent/softener that’s included in your stay, is just off to the side of the kitchen, as is the downstairs half-bathroom. The back entrances to the garden is in the laundry room as well.

A flight of around 20 stairs will take you to the upstairs space where the bedrooms and full bathroom are located.

The master bedroom has a luxurious queen-size bed and its own 40” Smart-TV that’s cable connected along with a small work desk and large walk-in closet. There’s a private patio with a stunning view of the Hollywood Hills and nearby scenery, complete with seating and tables that make it a great spot for relaxing, working, and enjoying food/drink. The guest bedroom has luxurious queen bed and spacious closet space and features great window views of the garden. Both bedrooms have their own private entrance with locked doors.

We have a large and comfortable air mattress that you can also use anywhere in the house—we keep that in the hallway closet and can help you set it up if needed. Please notify us in advance if you expect you’ll be using it.

The full bathroom, which is quite large, is located in the hallway and has a newly remodeled shower tub.

Cable TV and strong wifi are connected both upstairs and downstairs

There’s ample neighborhood parking that’s generally unrestricted except during street sweep times (W/F 8am-11am).

This house is perfect for families and business travelers. We can accommodate up to 5 people.

The location is about a 30-45-minute drive from LAX and costs around $40 plus tip via Taxi and often less with Uber/LYFT. We’re about a 15-minute drive from the Bob Hope Airport in Burbank and typically Uber/LTFT rides are around $15-$20 from there. You can also use Prime Time Shuttle for a shared ride from either airport.

Guest access

This unit is one half of a duplex and guests have full and private access. The front patio and backyard garden/gazebo are also available for guests to enjoy.

24-hour check-in

We have a lockbox with keys on site, and guests will be given the access code to get keys prior to their arrival.

Interaction with guests

GUEST SERVICE: Guest can check in at any time after 4PM, with 24-hour check-in available. Upon booking, you will be sent instructions and the access code for retrieving the keys from our lock. The property owner lives next door and is almost always nearby. Jason and Andrew, the property managers, are only a call or text away—we are very responsive to your messages. We love to provide local suggestions for your stay in Los Angeles.

The neighborhood

The duplex is a few blocks away from the trendy Los Feliz Village. Whether you want to catch a movie at one of the independent theaters like The Vista and the Los Feliz 3, which are each about a mile away, or walk to one of Los Angeles’ best restaurants like Home or Alcove there's always something to do day or night.

You can also experience the unique wonder of the Los Angeles wilderness nearby! Griffith Park is literally your backyard. With countless trails, a historical observatory, the Greek Theater, The LA Zoo, Roosevelt Golf Course and Tennis Courts, you'll never be bored exploring the natural beauty that our city has to offer.

Getting around

Close to both 5 and 101 freeways.

5 minutes to Hollywood, 10 minutes to downtown or Universal Studios.

20-30 minutes to Venice/Santa Monica/LAX (traffic depending).

The Metro station at Vermont and Sunset is a 15 minute walk. The bus runs daily and stops are located all around the neighborhood.

Other things to note

CHECK IN/OUT: Standard Check-in time is 4pm and Check-Out at 11am. We are happy to work with you on flexible times, however for late check-outs or early check-ins please expect a charge of $50.


PETS: Generally we don't allow pets, but feel free to inquire if you have a special circumstance or request. There is a small dog who lives in the duplex next door, but does not enter this unit.

ADDITIONAL GUESTS: We can host up to 5 guests. Please expect a $30 charge per additional guest over the allotted 3 per reservation.

This unit has gas heat and window-unit AC in the living room and bedrooms. We also provide high-powered fans.

FILMING—We welcome inquiries about filming for movies, television shows, commercials, etc. and are open to making our space available, though at our film rate.
