Clean, rustic construction, looks like a log cabin. Cozy for you to chill after a long day hiking, swimming, sightseeing. Or, just sit on the porch and take in the magnificent view. Inside the cabin there is a queen size bed in the bed room with an adjacent full bath. The second bed is a queen size couch/hide-a-bed in the living room. There is a full kitchen and a table for six. There are towels in the bath, pots, pans and cooking utensils in the kitchen, as well as, plates, bowels and cutlery. There is no phone, no wifi, no TV, few people, just the view of high mountain peaks. If you have an AT&T cell phone that works. Other cell companies have no coverage here. If you want to get away where no one can contact you – this is the place.
Entire cabin, cooking in the kitchen and surrounding area. There is a path and stairs down to the river and large swimming area. The entire 380 acer ranch property. You can fish in any of 4 ponds and go boating on the largest pond which covers one and a half acers. You can hike to a 60 foot high waterfall or to magnificent views of the High Sierra Mountains, or just chilling in nature’s backyard. :) Do note that most of the roads on the ranch are unpaved (dirt).
Interaction with Guests
Yes. We are looking forward to meeting you! We love PDX and would be happy to answer any questions of where to go and what to check out. See you soon!
Charming neighborhood and nice neighbors. A 15 minute drive will get you to HWY 198 where there are restaurants in both directions. To the West the is shopping including a grocery store (about 10 minutes). To the East just 5 minutes is the entrance to Sequoia National Park (but it is still another 40 minutes or so up a windy road inside the park to Giant Forest and other attractions).
You need a car, which is adequate for the main road by the cabin. Some of the other ranch road need all wheel drive.+ More
