Property Description

Remodeled guesthouse with spectacular city views, near restaurants, shopping & freeways. Large fully equipped kitchen, perfect for entertaining. 1 bedroom (with 1 queen bed) + 1 bath, queen sofa bed, private pool/jacuzzi/patio with seating for 4 and a grill. Brand new furniture. The pool is heated (Sept-May) and jacuzzi can be heated to jacuzzi temperatures upon request. *11/2017-new tile floor throughout the unit & full size table tennis with paddles/ping pong balls! The guesthouse is pictured with the main house because they are connected to one another. Although they are connected, there is no direct access from the guesthouse to the main house or vice versa. They have separate entrances in different locations on the property. The pool/jacuzzi, walkway and driveway are areas shared by the guesthouse and main house.

The Space:

The large kitchen has been fully equipped so you can cook like a chef. Brand new furniture throughout, including the living room couch which pulls out into a queen size bed. All 600+ thread count white bedding. One TV in the living room and 1 TV in the bedroom with Roku and Sling TV with the blue package (40+ channels). You can access Netflix, Amazon, or Hulu with your personal account. Pack 'n Play and high chair available upon request

Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire guesthouse, front pool/patio area, and driveway parking. Guests will not be allowed to access the main house, backyard, or garage.

The Neighborhood:

Awesome guesthouse on a hill above neighboring houses provides spectacular views of the city! Located in north Phoenix minutes from freeways. Very easy to get to Scottsdale, Tempe, central Phoenix, Glendale, and Peoria. Minutes from Desert Ridge Marketplace, Kierland Commons, Paradise Valley Mall & many great restaurants.

Interaction with Guests:

Once a reservation is booked and the required document is received (as outlined under "other things to note"), you will receive a letter detailing unit access and other information pertinent to your stay.

It’s greatly appreciated that all plumbing, electrical, appliance failures, or other issues be reported so the problem can be remedied as soon as possible.

Getting Around:

The easiest way to get around is by car. Bus stop is located about a 1/4 mile from the unit.

Check-in is after 3PM, check-out is before 10AM

No Parties or Events

STRICT no smoking policy

PETS must be disclosed before booking

Pets are welcome. However, we have a limitation on the number and size of pets we can allow in the unit. Pets are not allowed to be on the furniture including the beds or bedding/linens. Pets are required to be on a leash at all times outside in the community. Prior to booking, you must disclose the number/type of pets you will have stay at the unit. Failure to disclose pets, will be subject to a minimum of $250 pet fee.

If you are planning on using the jacuzzi within a few hours of your arrival, please let us know so we can have it heated for your arrival (we do not keep the jacuzzi heated above pool temperature 24/7 and it takes a few hours get it warmer). The pool/jacuzzi backs up to a desert preserve. Both are maintained weekly by a professional service, but wind and storms between the service can bring foliage into the pool area. Therefore, we have a pool rake near the pool for your use if needed.

It may be possible that certain facilities or features may not be available on occasions due to circumstances beyond the Owner’s control for which the Owner accepts no liability. The Owner will not be liable for breakdown of any equipment, nor for any accident, damage, loss, injury, expense or inconvenience whether to persons or property which the Principal Guest or other Occupants or Visitors may suffer, except where such failure renders the apartment uninhabitable. The Owner will make every endeavor to repair or replace equipment that fails during the period of let, but cannot guarantee this can be achieved. Note that the exterior of the property is under video surveillance.

Any attempt by a guest to reclaim rental in circumstances other than the apartment being uninhabitable would run contrary to this agreement, and any attempt by VRBO to retain money in such circumstances could not be justified.

We require a notarized and signed document to be submitted to us via the VRBO system. The document must be completed by the person named on the credit card used to pay for the booking. This document confirms acceptance of the rental agreement terms, confirms identity of the credit card user, confirms the credit card user authorizes payment for the agreed upon price on VRBO for your stay, and helps prevent credit card fraud.

We realize this process is not convenient and wish we didn't have to collect this documentation. However, we have had to institute these procedures since VRBO does not confirm the identity of the paying guest or verify the credit card used to book the unit is authorized by the cardholder. VRBO has made it clear to us it is the owner's responsibility to confirm identity of the credit card holder and confirm credit card authorization. A notarized document allows us to do this without requiring the card holder to send us pictures of their credit card, two forms of photo id, and and selfie. Thank you for your understanding!

Great weekend!


My wife and I stayed here for a long, anniversary weekend. It was absolutely perfect. The owners were great to work with. The unit was very clean and in a great location for all the activities we did around the Phoenix area. We highly recommend it!

Fun Spring Break!


We had such a relaxing and fun vacation at your home. We spent most of our time taking advantage of your beautiful pool, hot tub and view of the city. We also enjoyed our hikes on the mountain just steps away from our door. The close proximity to our Rockies spring training was also a plus. Great views in a quiet residential area


Great views in a quiet residential area. It was a bit cool when we were there, so we used the hot tub but not the pool. The hot tub took a few hours to heat up - wished it was a little quicker and required some planning ahead. The unit had everything we needed. Clean and well maintained. We had a car to get around, so the location worked well.

Perfect in every way!


We enjoyed the location and expansiveness of this little hideaway. Accommodations were above expectations - felt at home and pampered. Short drive from all local attractions and shopping and restaurants. Great find! We will be back again!
