Upscale residential neighborhood of custom homes. Quiet and very safe. Historical Fair Oaks Village within walking distance has a unique old town vibe with chickens and roosters walking around, antique shops and cafe's, a couple of pubs, a park and relaxed atmosphere. There are free concerts every week in the summer. Our favorite places are the Sunflower café (vegetarian), Carmelita's (Mexican - great outside patio dining. Live music on Saturday nights) and Fair Oaks Coffee House and Deli (great for breakfast, try their outdoor seating under the palm tree, among different plants and roosters walking around.)
