Stay at a quiet cabin in the woods this summer! Rustic 8 sided cabin close to attractions of the Olympic Peninsula. Centrally located for visits to the Victorian seaport of Port Townsend, beaches, hikes, local wineries and organic farms. Sleeps 2 comfortably, maximum 2. Full kitchen with dishes, cutlery and basic cooking utensils. Wonderful claw foot tub, no shower, two sets of linens are provided.
This is a studio space with comfortable queen bed, there's a memory foam twin bed in the small sleeping loft. The ladder to the loft is straight up and not an easy climb for everyone! The loft is not appropriate for children under 12 and older or disabled adults.
The cabin is across the road from where writer Betty McDonald lived circa 1930 and was the inspiration for her best seller, 'The Egg and I'. This humorous memoir was later adapted for the Ma and Pa Kettle movies.
Guests have access to the cabin, parking and immediate surroundings.

Rural location between the farming valleys of Chimacum. Some people enjoy riding bikes to the farmer's market on Sundays or stopping at the farm stand during the week. There are tasting rooms at local ciderys within a few miles of the cabin. The immediate surroundings are heavily wooded and there are three rustic cabins set among the trees on this park like acreage. A wonderful place for a creative retreat.
Located just south of Chimacum, Wa. Restaurants, shopping and entertainment in nearby Port Hadlock and Port Townsend. Easy drive to Sequim, Port Angeles and Olympic national park. No public transportation.
