Your family will want to gather every morning in the large, newly-renovated country kitchen as you make your plans for area sightseeing whether by bicycle or car. If you decide to enjoy your immediate surroundings you can stroll around the property or along the quiet country road the home is located on. The Stone House is a great choice for quiet contemplation or for yard games with the kids. On rainy days, you will find a selection of DVD’s and high speed internet to keep you amused. The kitchen will seat eight comfortably and adjacent to it is the living area. The living area is a welcoming space to sit and relax with your family and watch a movie on the flat screen TV to unwind after a day of outdoor enjoyment. Also on the main floor are two bedrooms, one with two single beds and one with a set of single bunkbeds. Upstairs you will find the other two bedrooms, one with a double and one with a queen. Central air conditioning will only add to your great nights’ sleep. A full four-piece bath is located upstairs and a two-piece is located adjacent to the kitchen. A washer and dryer are located on the finished basement level as well as a carpeted play area for the kids on a rainy day. Outside on the rear deck, you will find 4 Muskoka chairs and a patio set with umbrella. A picnic table, propane BBQ and kids’ playground equipment are also available. A fire pit is located on the big grassy yard and is perfect for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows under the starry summer skies, free of ambient light. This lovely fieldstone house is on a quiet, paved secondary road and is quite private. The closest and only neighbours are across the road, screened by lots of trees. It is merely a few minutes from Lake Huron beaches (Bruce Beach & Boiler Beach), the Pine River Cheese outlet and the town of Kincardine. In Kincardine, you will find all manner of things to do including a 22 km multi-use trail system, public beaches, festivals, galleries and a lovely boardwalk along the beach. The main street is brimming with shopping and dining options, some with local Scottish flair! In fact every Saturday evening in the summer months you can enjoy the local Scottish pipe band parade.
