The house sits in a 2.5 acre plot, with fantastic landscaped gardens and an outside hot tub and barrel sauna for a self contained relaxing time. Whilst you may find it difficult to drag yourself away from the home the nearest village is Morin Heights, which has a great spa, local shops and a well stocked supermarket and liquor store. Five minutes further on is cosmopolitan Saint Sauveur with its 100 plus restaurants, local and outlet style shops and numerous charming cafes.
During the winter the area is a magnet for those enjoying winter sports, with twenty plus ski resorts within a ten or fifteen minute drive. For those who require something more challenging Tremblant is a 45 minute drive north. The Saint Sauveur skiing area is the capital of night time skiing in eastern Canada, and the lit up slopes add to the atmosphere. In summer the area favours the outdoors orientated with literally thousands of lakes and rivers and areas for waking or exploring the beautiful scenery. During the fall nature provides a spectacular display from the rear of the property with every hue imaginable stretching over forest as far as the eye can see.
