REVIEWS FROM OTHER ONLINE BOOKING SERVICE
An absolutely fantastic experience, from the moment we connected with Gary on booking to the moment we left, no question we would stay here again and highly recommend the place. A couple of highlights....the view is incredible, from the GG bridge through to Alcatraz to the entire waterfront, amazing. We were there for business and found the location excellent, waking distance to the Embarcadero, Fishermans Wharf and the Presidio. The place itself was immaculate, super clean and everything you need. Gary even stocked the fridge and left us a goodie basket that was completely unexpected and appreciated. Huge TV with all the channels, super comfy beds (we used the master and the den with the pullout couch). The pullout couch had a massive and very comfortable posturepedic foam mattress on it. It was more comfortable than my bed at home. The street is quiet at night and the roof deck provides for an amazing place to have a glass of wine. Honestly, this place is amazing. We will definitely stay there again on business or pleasure while in SF. Highly recommended.
Staying at Garys house is a real treat and the apartment is outstanding - it feels like coming home, it is a real retreat and the view is just stunning - no words can describe how amazing it is. You can overlook the whole bay, including Golden Gate Bridge! But what made our stay really extraordinary was Gary: No words can describe how warm Gary welcomed us. He kindly texted me before the stay and asked, if we need anything special from the stores and he made sure that we'll have everything to make our stay as special and nice as possible. He showed us the place very carefully and made sure we make ourselfs at home. It was a pleasure and very interesting to chat with him. Unfortunately we haven't had enough time to spend with him. I think the apartment is even more charming than it appears on the pictures and would definitely like to stay there again. The beds are very cosy, the mattresses are brand new and have memory foam topper. The bathroom has a great rain shower or you can take a dipp in the jacuzzi bath tub. The whole apartment is super clean and I had no concerns to place our baby boy on the floor or in the bath tub. The location is great and very close to the Marina, Coit Tower, Lombard Street and lively the north. My favorite place was the lovely rooftop terrace! Even though we were travelling with a 3 month old baby, I wouldn't recommend this place for families (with toddlers or older children), because this apartment is so well designed and decorated, that it is just not ideal for little toddlers.
