Your large master bedroom includes a private ensuite bathroom, and has gorgeous mountain views! Plenty of light comes into the bedroom so you can enjoy the beautiful Boulder weather. Just a 10 minute drive to Pearl Street (under $10 in an Uber) or a 20 minute bike ride, the house is in a quiet residential area. A king-sized memory foam mattress will ensure you sleep comfortably through the night. We provide a key to your space and a desk for working. Pet stays are negotiable--please ask first.
This large room (~450 square feet) is on the main floor of a spacious, well-lit home. With a southwestern orientation there is plenty of sun and warmth that streams in through the large windows. We provide everything you need for a memorable stay in Boulder, including towels, clean bedding, and access to a full kitchen. The en-suite bathroom is large enough for you to comfortably spread out your toiletries and feel right at home.
Also, we are walking distance to a number of places that might interest you. I am happy to provide guidance on how to get there to the following places:
• CU Boulder East campus (about 15 minutes on foot)
• Arapahoe Ridge Park is the perfect neighborhood park for younger children, with natural rock climbing structure and jungle gym, tennis courts and a diamond field (4 minutes on foot)
You'll have access to all communal parts of the house, including the living room, dining room, and kitchen, as well as the back yard and sun-deck area. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible while you are here, so please take advantage of the space and make yourself at home.
I am usually around to answer questions and help you get to know the neighborhood as well as the larger community. I have been in Boulder for many years, and know of a number of off-the-beaten path places that you might want to visit. I occasionally work from home, however, so sometimes I am not free to chat even if I'm present.
The neighborhood is a quiet residential area, that is a short 15 minute walk from the B Cycle station at 35th and Colorado (Boulder's bicycle rental network--see to see map stations and app information). Uber or Lyft can take you to Pearl Street for under $10.
As far as grocery stores are concerned, there are plenty nearby. Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and King Soopers are each less than 2 miles away in a shopping center that also contains a Target and a number of convenient food options.
There are also great micro-breweries and restaurants located nearby. In fact, within a mile of the property are BRU Handbuilt Ales & Eats (great place to get a craft brew and a wholesome American meal), Blackbelly (great for steaks and burgers), and Wild Woods Brewery (great delicious craft beers).
In the morning, don't forget to stop by Ozo Coffee Co (less than a mile from the property) for a morning pick me up if you don't make coffee at the house.
Once we've agreed that this is the right space for you, and have confirmed the reservation, I will email you a packet of information related to the property so that you have everything you need to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable stay.
There may or may not be other tenants in the house when you arrive. I aspire to surround myself with friendly, open people. If you meet other people in the house, please introduce yourself. They will likely be very friendly and open to meeting.
Some previous guests have noted that the foot traffic upstairs can be disruptive. While the vast majority of the guests that have stayed in the master bedroom have had enjoyable, relaxing stays (and we want you to have the same experience), should you find earplugs helpful we are happy to provide them for you.
Also, we generally enjoy cats (and occasionally dogs) at the house, so if you are allergic or otherwise don't appreciate pets in your space, this might not be the right environment for you. This is the Master bedroom in a house that I live in.+ More
