Rocky's Marina is a 5 minute drive from the cottage and has a family restaurant for those times when Mom needs a night off. It also has a gas bar, boat launch and store where ice, pop etc. can be purchased. Sunrise Ridge is sure to be a place you will want to visit year after year.

Lake Wanapitei has an area of 13,257 hectares and a shoreline perimeter of 160.4 kilometres. The maximum depth of the lake is 142 metres (465.87 feet) and the age is estimated to be 37 million years, placing it in the Eocene.
