The large balcony has comfortable seating for 6, and we've provided binoculars and a bird reference book so you can identify and enjoy the amazing variety of wildlife to be seen there. Dolphins, manatee, osprey, spoonbills, ibis, wood storks, egrets, herons of all sorts, pelicans and ducks are commonly seen. It is truly a bird-watcher's paradise!
The short walk to the beach is easy. At the end of the driveway, look left, and you can see the 198th Avenue Beach Access (see the map on this page, for reference). There is a crosswalk with a manual traffic signal for safety, as well. If you haven't experienced an Indian Shores sunset from the beach, you are missing something special!
A beach trolley runs daily up and down Gulf Boulevard from Clearwater Beach to St. Pete. You can purchase trolley and bus passes at the convenience store right next door, within walking distance.
We are conveniently located, and close to great restaurants, great shopping (Johns Pass is a must), and recreational equipment rentals. Disney World is only 1 1/2 hours away, and we are close to Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tampa Bay Rays sporting events!+ More
