There is ample parking close by, and it is easy to get downtown;, by car, 15-20 minutes, bus 30-45 minutes, or bike 45+ minutes.
The living room is wide, with a big sofa, hammock, big TV, and bay windows, where you can sit, open the windows and enjoy an unobstructed view of the well-maintained National Recreation Area, beautiful green grass rising up to a bike path, beautiful sand dunes behind some bushes and trees, with iceplant, and waving sandgrass. The TV is "SMART', great reception and connected to internet.
One bedroom opens up to a 20' by 13' redwood deck, with a bar-b-que, and space to relax in the open air. From there are steps that lead down to a double-sized back yard, landscaped lawn surrounded by garden. The other bedroom is bigger, with a window opening to a green patio. You can hear the ocean waves through the window at night.
The large open kitchen has an old fashioned stove, big table, and plenty of room to slice and cook. All utensals are provided. There's a full private bathroom with tub, and a nice easy wide entry up the wooden stairs from the open entrance area.
The sunsets out the windows are sublime, and when the sun is out, the afternoons are amazingly brilliant and warm.
It is a one minute walk to the beach, which is, amazingly for an Urban area, very solitary and wide open.
The internet, Sonic, is fast and reliable. There's a big washer and dryer in the garage.
It is an excellent neighborhood for dining, coffee, surfing, "hanging out". Within short walking distance are: Chinese, Korean, Italian, Mexican, and American restaurants, a prize-winning Bakery, a couple coffee places, a market, a fine fruit/vegetable store, Flanahan's (a fine Irish bar), a liquor store, and other amenities.
Also close are Thai, Indian, Raw-organic, and other restaurants, laundry, dry cleaning, , a health food store, surf and clothes stores, more coffee shops - in short, it is a great neighborhood.
The public transport is close and easy, with lines leading both downtown and across town. Street parking is ample.+ More
