lovely and very spacious home comfortably sleeps six and is situated on a one-half acre
landscaped yard. Lake Michigan’s sugar-sand beach, nearly private, is a short and pleasant walk
away. You’ll love the lake view from the open concept kitchen, dining and great room, as well
as from the master and second bedrooms. There is also bonus space offering the versatility of a
second living area with cable TV, family movies and games, as well as functional and private
office space. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite
countertops. The large deck, partially covered, is accessible from the large master bedroom
and great room, and is equipped with comfortable outdoor furnishings and gas grill, and boasts
that beautiful Lake Michigan view. Veranda View is conveniently located between town and
the state park, offering proximity to many activities including golf, fishing, shopping, dining and
hiking. The whole family will enjoy tours of two nearby lighthouses, visits to the Historic White
Pine Village on South Lakeshore Drive and Sandcastles Children’s Museum in downtown
Ludington. Adventure seekers can find paddle boat rentals at the state park, a choice of kayak
and canoe renters in the area, and charter boat rentals. The Hart-Montague bike trail offers
23.5 miles of quality trail for biking, strolling, running or walking. From Veranda View it is a
short drive or bicycle ride to Ludington’s Stearns Beach, Rotary Park and the skateboard park.
You can rent a slip at the public marina or catch the S.S. Badger car ferry, which carries
passengers round trip from Ludington to Manitowoc, Wisconsin twice daily in the summer.
Take the short stroll down to the beach any evening to treat yourself and your guests to one of
Ludington’s famously unforgettable sunsets.
