While visiting Paonia and the North Fork Valley, you will experience the most spectacular scenery in Western Colorado. Then for longer stays, the Black Canyon National Monument, Grand Mesa, West Elks Scenic Byway, historic mining towns of Crested Butte, Redstone and Marble, and Kebler and McLure passes are all within an hour and a half drive. Telluride and Aspen are 2 to 2-1/2 hours so even possible during longer stays.
