A vintage 1965 Winnebago that has been remodeled for your comfort. It is perfect for a guest who likes camping and alternative living spaces. The addition of a tiny shower and toilet make this camper self contained and comfortable. There is a mini kitchen with a hot plate, convection toaster oven, fridge and basic cooking pots and utensils. Due to limited space I also have a microwave and coffee machine I can leave for your use. There is a small bed that is converted from the bench seating. Two people can fit here, but it is tight. At the back of the Winnebago is a single bench that can be slept on. The entire Winnebago is around 100 sq ft, with about 50 square feet of open floor space.
You will have access to the Winnebago and the courtyard attached to the main house. I have backyard hens and if you wish to visit them or collect eggs you can also do that.
If you have any questions feel free to ask me. I am usually out and about at different times so you can e-mail or call at anytime. If I am home I will be more than welcome to meet with you.
The neighborhood is close to many bars and restaurants within walking distance. There are many antique stores in the vicinity also. A list will be provided of some of my favourite spots in the area.
There is plenty of off-street parking available on the lot at the side of the house for many cars. The property is near by a major bus route.
Other things to note
The location is in midtown Tucson and close to plenty shops, restaurants, and bars. It is about a 15 minute drive to downtown Tucson and the University of Arizona. Please note that is you are looking for something in downtown that this area is not downtown Tucson. I have a guidebook of my favourite locations in Tucson, if you would like more ideas and suggestions feel free to ask. This is a tiny vintage Winnebago therefore space is limited. You are staying in a piece of history. It has 50 sq foot of floor space. The entire camper is 100 sq ft. It is listed as a single occupancy, but if two people would like to stay please let me know in advance. The location is on a residential street, but there may be noise due to traffic, pedestrians and the occasional fire truck as the fire station is located at the end of the street. The toilet is a porta potty located in the camper. It functions similar to a normal toilet; however, it will need to be emptied every few days which I will do. Just let me know when and I will take care of it. The shower is tiny but fully functioning. it has limited water pressure, but works great. In the main house I have 4 dogs. They will not be in the front around the Winnebago but I occasionally let them outside in the back garden. There may be some barking when they want to come inside the house and I always promptly let them in.+ More
