Property Description

My 2 story house is 1/2 block from oceanfront beach and 4 blocks from bay where children can swim safely and kayak and other rentals are offered. Main street (2nd St.) with restaurants and shopping just 2 blocks away. I have 3 bedrooms and can sleep 6 - one I use as den and has twin daybed with trundle, the others are the master with King bed and balcony and a guest room with a double. A seventh person could sleep on downstairs sofa. I have one large full bath upstairs and a small 1/2 bath downstairs. I have all the standard kitchen appliances and a washer and dryer in garage directly accessible from kitchen. I have a front brick patio and garden full of flowering plants; if you look over the fence to the right you can see the ocean. I have a parking place behind my garage (very desirable here since parking can be a problem). I have a 55" flat screen smart TV with premium channels and wifi. Some of the local attractions include Aquarium of the Pacific and the Queen Mary, a lively downtown nightlife and many activities on the beach all summer long such as the Polynesian festival and sandcastle building contest and fireworks on the 4th of July, also farmer's markets and craft fairs, stroll and savors and much more. Local buses are available for getting around area. You can take boat ride to Catalina from downtown Long Beach.

LA attractions such as Hollywood, Disneyland, the Getty museum are all accessible by car.

Other iconic beach cities including Malibu, Huntington Beach (surf city) and Manhattan Beach are located nearby. San Diego with world famous zoo, safari park and SeaWorld is about an hour and a half away by car or train.

You can't find a better location to be in Los Angeles area than where I live. You get a small town feel with all the amenities of a big city.

Great location and property in Long Beach


Catherine has a wonderful property in Long Beach which fit our needs perfectly! Adorable beach cottage!


We loved our adorable beach cottage! Comfy, cozy, super cute! Very close to beach!


We were lucky enough to stay at Catherine's home for a week. It is located in a part of Belmont Shore where I grew up. I left in the 70's. We were delighted with the house.
