Clear waters of Georgian Bay await! Charming, cute and cosy bungalow + bunkie are nestled in a "360 location" in Lions direction has a lovely view. The Bruce Trail is steps from Wee Leo, Lions Head public beach is visible form our shoreline and a short walk away, the Harbour and Lighthouse are directly across the bay, and even The Lions Head formation of the Niagara escarpment can be seen from our waterfront. The cottage is plumbed with natural running spring water (UV Filtered) and an electric heater. Septic is modest.
Kitchen, small but functional enough, especially considering the stone patio and barbecue just outside the door.
Wee living room has a couch that folds down for extra sleeping space (and a view of the water).
Dining room has a table that seats 5 comfortably, and has an electric fireplace just in case there's a chill.
The master bed is cozy, in keeping with the Wee living style. It's complete with one queen bed, a dresser, and a cedar lined closet. Linens are NOT provided (other than pillows and comforter)
The 2nd bedroom has a double bed, with dresser and closet. Linens are NOT provided (other than pillows and comforter)
Cute surfer themed bunkie has a bunk bed with new double mattress lower and single mattress upper, as well as a futon couch. It also has a flat screen television, and multiple board games.
There are 2 flat screen televisions, one in the cottage with USB port to bring your own movies, and one in the bunkie. No cable or internet provided but cellular service is available depending on your provider.
The municipal marina is just across the harbour with a boat ramp for launching, and a historical lighthouse. Discover fossils, marine life, and even a shipwreck off Isthmus Bay!
The cottage includes for use during your stay multiple water toys, including canoe, new kayak, new paddle boards, skim boards etc., once the usage waiver has been signed and accepted. BRING WATER SHOES to make the Peninsula rocks more manageable for your feet.
There is room on the cottage lawn for putting up a volleyball/badminton net.
The neighbours are all close by along prime waterfront, but are generally quiet and friendly.
Just a dozen steps from our parking pad is an entrance to The Bruce Trail.
