OUR ISLAND RECOMMENDATIONS:
State Road (508-‐‑693-‐‑8582) The best restaurant on the Vineyard. Located “up island” in West Tisbury, call for a reservation. Beach Road (508-‐‑693-‐‑8582). State Road’s wonderful new sister restaurant in Vineyard Haven. Food is great and the view of Lagoon Pond beautiful.
Art Cliff Diner (508-‐‑693-‐‑1224) Best breakfast on the island, hands down. Always a wait and limited parking, but worth it. On Beach Road in Vineyard Haven..
Offshore Ale (508-‐‑693-‐‑2626) A casual brewery/restaurant in Oak Bluffs. Islanders go year-‐‑round for good food and brew and a fun atmosphere for family or group dining.
Black Dog Tavern (508-‐‑693-‐‑9223) Also on Vineyard Haven Harbor, a short walk from the ferry, with bakery and shops. Home Port Restaurant (508-‐‑645-‐‑2679) A wonderful place for ocean fare, overlooking Menemsha Pond and perfect for family and friends. Call for reservation. Seasonal.
FARM & SEAFOOD MARKETS
John’s Fish Market (508-‐‑693-‐‑1220) Sell the best fresh fish, seafood, and specialties and attached Sandy’s has the best fry chef on the island. Their fried clams, shrimp, etc. are out of this world. Seasonal.
Net Results (508-‐‑693-‐‑6071) Fish market serving seafood and sushi. Open year-‐‑round and within easy walking distance from the ferry, a favorite for islanders and visitors.
Morning Glory Farm (508-‐‑ 627-‐‑9003) An excellent family farm/store supplying organic produce, eggs, chicken, baked goods, & prepared foods. It is our standard for fresh food.
Fiddlehead Farm (508-‐‑645-‐‑4854) On State Road in West Tisbury, the best stop for gourmet items (cheese, meats, pasta, ice cream, olive oil, etc), and fresh produce.
Grey Barn Farm (508-‐‑645-‐‑4854) An island treasure in Chilmark where you can buy certified organic raw milk, cheese, eggs, beef and pork.
Allen Sheep Farm (508-‐‑645-‐‑9064) Produces the best lamb on the island, and a lovely little woolens gift shop. Gorgeous ocean views, too, on the South Road in Chilmark. (Head on down the road to Beetlebung Corners and visit Chilmark’s Chocolates)
West Tisbury Farmer’s Market At the Grange Hall June-‐‑Sept, Wed & Sat 9am-‐‑noon, and at the Agricultural Hall Oct-‐‑Dec 10am -‐‑1 pm. All sorts of food, flower, and craft booths.
TAKE-OUT FOR THE BEACH
Humphrey’s Bakery (508) 693-‐‑6518 Call ahead to pick up sandwiches on your way to Hancock Beach. The Gobbler is legendary, also recommend the Cuban or the daily special.

7a (508) 6934636) If you missed Humphrey’s, you can still stop in West Tisbury at 7a, next door to Alley’s. Great food, definately try the Liz Lemon sandwich.
The Bite (508-‐‑645-‐‑9239) Clam shack within walking distance from Menemsha Beach, a pure summer time treasure. Seasonal. Limited parking.
