Access Lake Kagawong across the street and down two sets of stairs to the shoreline. Swim shoes recommended for Lake Kagawong, good swimming with a rock bottom. There is a 24 foot long dock for your use, sit in the muskoka chairs and enjoy the sunset. Open concept living area with with a fold down table that seats 2 comfortably. Adjacent is the small open kitchen with fridge, stove, and microwave with additional seating for 2 at the peninsula. The bed is a Queen and the bathroom is a three piece with a shower. On the road side of the cottage is a screened in sunroom, that provides a bright and airy feel. Curl up here with a good book or settle in with your morning coffee and listen to the birds outside. The property is shared with the rental unit next door (black building in the picture). You have access to your own fire pit with this rental but share the 4 kayaks on site. Lake Kagawong is the 2nd largest Lake on Manitoulin island, and offers excellent fishing for perch, bass and pike. In the nearby lake you can also fish for walleye, speckled trout, white fish and salmon. Discovering and exploring all that Manitoulin has to offer is a must! You can spend your days hiking, swimming, golfing, horseback riding, exploring Bridal Veil Falls, or visiting the historic village of Kagawong. This is one of Manitoulin's most picturesque destinations and has a number of unique shops that line the streets in the nearby towns.
